iOLAP Academy is a program inspired by young enthusiasts seeking practical knowledge in the IT industry. Launched in 2021, over the past three years, 53 participants have been part of the Academy, and we have hired 67% of them.
This course is designed as an elite program where we carefully select individuals who align with our culture and work ethic. Our mentors are specialists in their fields, ensuring you kick-start your IT career!
The Academy starts on July 29 and lasts until September 20 - a full 8 weeks!
On the last day, we will organize a graduation ceremony to celebrate this significant accomplishment together.
Yes. We want you to experience the real working environment at iOLAP, which is why the Academy will be held onsite in the Rijeka office.
No. The Academy is entry-level and for people who have basic technical knowledge that they want to expand. You don’t need to have a diploma. If you are interested in technical studies and love to watch tutorials and try out some things in your free time – then you are the person for this program. We are searching for ambitious, motivated solution-finders and team players.
iOLAP Academy requires all participants to commit to 8 hours each working day. Our course is structured to include lectures, mentoring sessions, home assignments, and a final hands-on team project. This mix offers you the opportunity to learn from the best, test your skills, and gain invaluable experience, with a strong emphasis on hands-on learning.

The iOLAP Academy is an elite program whose curriculum was created by the best in the company. These experts will be your mentors who will work daily with you on your tasks so they can share some real use cases and answer your questions.

Data & AI
Learn about the newest trends in data engineering and AI focused on AWS. Become a valuable Data & AI engineer who knows how to collect, transform, and analyze data in the cloud.
This course is meant for motivated individuals who have basic knowledge of SQL and/or Python and want to learn modern principles and best practices of using cutting-edge technologies for data manipulation in AWS - including cloud solution architecting, data storage, and processing.
Requirements to enter the course:
The plan is to have up to a dozen participants. We want the Academy to stay elite and useful.
The first step is to apply through the iOLAP Academy form.
Your CV is required because we want to get to know you better! We’d like to see your educational background and any previous work experience you might have (everything counts!). Include any additional courses you've taken or projects you've completed during or outside your studies. If you're a self-taught developer aiming to break into the IT industry, share your GitHub so we can see what you’re working on.
Besides your CV, we have added some screening questions to the application form. Sometimes it’s hard to gauge your main interests, expectations, and future plans from a CV alone, so we appreciate your effort to tell us more.
To achieve and maintain the best quality of the program, the number of participants is limited. Therefore, we have a selection process to choose the best candidates.
The first stage of the selection process is a conversation with HR. This is a great opportunity for you to showcase your skills and motivation. You should demonstrate a clear interest and explain why you think you would be a good fit for the iOLAP Academy. Additionally, English speaking skills will also be assessed during this conversation.
The next step is an interview with our tech experts and HR. This interview aims to assess your previous knowledge and relevant tech skills to ensure you can keep up with the curriculum.
Don't worry—we are not looking for experts, and you don't need to have an answer to every question. Show us your thought process and motivation to learn, and we're sure you'll do great!
